Tahini |Tahini lemon dip| Tahini chives dip

Today I'm making homemade creamy Tahini which is easy to make and much less expensive than buying from the store. If you have checked the Almond butter recipe on my blog then you will find it easy. The process of making tahini is literally the same.
In most situations, I serve a variety of snacks with my absolute favorite 4-ingredient dip i.e.  Coriander chutney, it’s lemony, herby, and packed with asafoetida flavor and sometimes mint flavor. If you want to know how to make coriander chutney check out the recipe in our blog.

Lately, I have discovered something new, especially when it comes to eating salad platter. This recipe couldn’t get any easier. Tahini sauce is a mixture of tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic, and water. Another way is adding one more ingredient i.e. any herb of your choice in tahini sauce to increase the flavor. I used chives to increase the flavor of this sauce.

What is Tahini?

Let me introduce you to TAHINI. It's is a dense paste made up of roasted sesame seeds, the texture of tahini is smooth and creamy. This traditional sauce is served in Israel and in Arab countries throughout the Middle East. It is used in salad dressing and also in making Hummus. (Stay tuned! for hummus recipe).
Tahini dip is one of my absolute favorite toppings for a variety of savory dishes. The perfect vegan dip for falafel, salads, veggie burgers and everything in between!
