Today, I'm sharing a tasty highly popular Indian hot snack recipe that is meant for the rainy season! Moong dal bhajiya's also known as fritters, with crushed peppercorns and coriander seeds which enhance the flavor of crispy dumplings. These fritters can be prepared in different ways like with onions, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, lentils, and cheese.
Today, I'll show you how to make crispy moong dal fritters that are made from the batter of moong dal lentils.

These fritters can be prepared in different ways like with onions, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, lentils, and cheese.
Today, I'll show you how to make crispy moong dal fritters that are made from the batter of moong dal lentils.
How to make Crispy Moong dal bhajiya's?
Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow moong dal
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 3-4 cauliflower florets finely chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp crushed peppercorns
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp corn flour chickpea flour
- salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Directions
- Firstly, take one cup washed and cleaned yellow moong lentil(dal) and soaked for at least one hour in water.
- Then, remove the excess water and put the moong dal into a mixer grinder and grind coarsely.
- Transfer the paste into a large bowl and add a little amount of water into a mixing jar to get all the remaining paste out of the jar. Shake well and pour the mixture into a bowl.
- Add in all the chopped vegetables, dry spices, and coriander leaves into a batter. Mix well.
- Take a frying pan and add in enough vegetable oil for frying fritters on medium heat.
- Now with the help of spoon take a small portion of batter and pour it in a frying pan and fry until crispy and golden brown.

| coarsely grounded Thick paste |
| Add in all the chopped vegetables |
| Add in all the dry spices |
| Add in cornflour |
| Add chickpea flour |
| Mix well |
| ADD in oil for frying fritters |
| Pour small portion of batter with the help of spoon |
