Sounds strange right! Are you wondering about chickpeas? are they made up of chickpeas? feel like ugh... exactly I can feel you because I had the same feeling when I heard about chickpeas brownies for the first time. Believe me, It sounds weird but these brownies are much healthier, smoother, fudgier, and tasty brownies ever. That you can serve along with raspberry marmalade or fresh berries and honey. Just incredible and highly rich in protein, perfect for someone who likes gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free desserts. I love reading Dan Brown books and eating fudgy brownies at the same time :)

Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas( drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup peanut butter/almond butter or cashew butter ( nut butter of your choice
- 1/2 cup maple syrup/honey
- 1/3 cup nestle cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup Almond flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease 8x8 baking tin with parchment paper.
- Into the food processor add chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, cacao powder, almond flour, vanilla extract. ( basically all the ingredients together into the food processor except chocolate chips)
- Continue to process, scraping down the sides until smooth consistency.
- Take out the batter and fold chocolate chips gently into the mix.
- Now, pour the batter into a greased 8x8 pan and sprinkled the top with extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for 21-25 minutes and voila your delicious brownies are ready to serve.
