Secret Ingredient for crunchy Peanut butter balls

These Chocolate Butter balls have one secret ingredient which makes these butter balls so special, crunchy, and tasty. Can you guess the ingredient? scroll down, please to find out. ;)

Let's start making gorgeous Peanut butter balls.

Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup peanut butter
  2. 6-7 pitted Medjool dates
  3. 1 cup Almond flour
  4. 1 cup rice cereal aka Lai in Hindi
  5. 125 gms dark chocolate
METHOD: How to make Vegan Peanut butter balls?

  • Into the food processor, add the pitted Medjool dates, almond flour, and peanut butter. Blend until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the creamy dough into the large bowl.
  • Fold the mixture in the crisp rice cereal, using your hands make a nice dough.
  • Apply little coconut oil onto your palm and start making round balls.
  • Arrange them on a baking pan on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Are you wondering why baking pan for no-bake dessert? ( Because it will save your cleaning time when you start dipping these round beauties in a hot melting chocolate.) It's messy!
  • Place them in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Meanwhile, work on bain-marie Chocolat, I mean melting the chocolate over low heat in a double boiler. ( If you don't know how to melt chocolate in a double boiler, check the detailed recipe of another decadent dessert chocolate mousse where you will find all the amazing pictures of melting chocolate). Stir frequently.
  • Once the chocolate melted completely, with the help of a spoon or fork dips the balls into the chocolate ganache one at a time to coat them completely or like Buckeyes by the spruce eats.
  • Place the balls on the baking sheet.
  • Lastly, sprinkle some sea salt on the top. ( It's optional)
  • Place it in the refrigerator until the chocolate set completely.
  • Enjoy these crunchy butter bites immediately or you can store up to one week.
