Summer is officially here and the weather is already getting warmer and hotter, Isn't it?  To beat the heat we need something to refresh ourselves.
 
Today, I'm going to share 3 amazing recipes of homemade creamy milkshakes that you can enjoy throughout the summer. 

1. Strawberry milkshake
2. Chocolate milkshake
3. Mango-peach milkshake

I just love the ideas of milkshakes for summer parties and sleepovers. They are just perfect and so easy. You can simply blend your favourite fruits with milk or yoghurt and enjoy colourful smoothies.

So, Let's go blending.

1. Strawberry milk-shake

Strawberry shake

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 2 tsp rose syrup ( I like rose syrup in a strawberry shake, it's optional)
  • 1 cup whole milk or plant-based milk
  • Fresh strawberries for topping

 Directions :

  • Into your blender add in frozen strawberries, rose syrup and maple syrup.
  • Now, add 1 cup of whole milk/Almond milk.
  • Blend all the things together until creamy and thick.
  • Now, pour your strawberry shake in a jar and topped with fresh strawberries or vanilla frosting.

2. Chocolate milk-shake

 Ingredients:

  • 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate sauce ( Homemade or ready-made)
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • cherries for toppings

 Directions :

  • Into your pitcher add in 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream.
  • Now, add 1/3 cup of whole milk and 1/4 cup of chocolate sauce.
  • Blend all the things together until creamy and thick.
  • Before I pour shake into my glass I want to do one extra thing to make it extra chocolaty, so I get a little bit of chocolate sauce on my spoon and smear it around the inside of the glass.
  • Now, pour your chocolate shake into your serving jar.
And you know, I love the good presentation - So I use tall glasses to pour milkshake and add one scoop of vanilla ice-cream and pop up some cherries on the top. Also, you can use wafers for presentation.

3. Mango- Peach milk-shake

Mango-peach milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped fresh peach
  • 1 cup fresh mango 
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • Cherries for toppings

 Directions :

  • Into your Vitamix add in fresh, peeled and diced mango and peach.
  • Now, add 1 cup of coconut milk and ice-cubes.
  • Add 1 tsp of pure honey.
  • Blend all the things together until creamy and thick.
  • Now, pour your dreamy creamy mango-peach shake into your serving glasses.
Substitutes and variations:
  • You can substitute milk with greek yoghurt or juice.
  • You can also add 1 spoon protein powder or soaked quinoa for extra creaminess and protein.
  • You can use any type of milk whole milk / low fat /skimmed milk/plant-based.
  • You can also add vegetable instead of fruits.
