Sabudana cutlets | Sabudana vada
Dear Friends, I hope you had a great time during "Durga puja"π. As, I had posted a few recipes(Sabudana khichdi, Sabudana cutlets, Halwa -Chana) on INSTAGRAM that you can enjoy during this festive season as a snack or as a breakfast.
So, Today, I'm going to share a very easy and a fancy recipe i.e. SABUDANA CUTLET is a traditional deep fried snack and is very delicious and crispy too. Usually, People in Indian; They have sabudana when they do fasting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sabudana/sago/tapioca soaked in 1/2 cup of water.
- 2 boiled mashed potatoes.
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper.
- Salt to taste. (Sendha namak if fasting)
- 2 tbsps coriander leaves finely chopped.
- 1 green chilli finely chopped.
- 1 tbsp corn flour.
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder.
- Oil for deep frying the cutlets.
Directions
- Firstly, Take 1 cup sabudana and soaked in half a cup of water for 30 minutes.
- Transfer the soaked and drained sabudana into a mixing bowl.
- Now, add mashed potatoes, coriander leaves, green chilli, and all dry ingredients. Mix and mash the mixture with your hand and form a dough.
- Make a small flat ball out of the dough.
- Deep fry the cutlets until it turns nice and golden.
